I read every email. There is no marketing inbox between you and me, and there is no autoresponder that promises a follow-up that never comes.
What to write about
- Calculator requests. If there is a piece of math you do on every job and would rather not redo, I want to hear it.
- Calculator bug reports. If a tool gives you the wrong answer for a real-world input, send the inputs and what you expected. Bug reports go to the front of the queue.
- Tool reviews. If you use a construction-tech product I have not covered and have an opinion, that is useful even if I disagree.
- Corrections and pushback. If a post on this site is wrong, please tell me. I would rather fix a mistake than defend it.
Response time
I aim for a reply within two business days. Most messages get one within 24 hours. Anything urgent, say so in the subject line.
Note on PR pitches
I do not run sponsored posts and I do not accept paid placements in the resources page. If you represent a vendor and want me to look at your tool, the fastest path is to give me trial access and let me decide. The slowest path is a press release.
